Here Come The Men In Black

Post by _Infymus »

Just finished my morning walk around the Matican and noticed there was a fellow in front of the Morg Library. He was screaming across the street at a man in black, wearing a black suit with an ear piece. I recognized him immediately as Morg security. These guys are everywhere around the Matican - dark suits, smug faces, cop haircuts. Then I noticed there were five following him, two on the corner, and five more walking down the side towards me. Coming out of the West entrance of the Matican were three more.

So as I passed them I sung aloud, "Here come the men in black ..."

The man was obviously distressed, screaming "Quit your G&*D lying!". I think they were waiting for him to step foot off the sidewalk and onto Corporate property, where they could then promptly detain him. Perhaps even try and excise the demons out of him, who knows.

I've never seen so many at the same time, except that one time I was in a pink shirt holding hands with my friend walking across the Main Street Plaza. /smirk

Isn't it interesting that your interest was picqued by the "men in black" rather than the guy screaming across the street--which is what would have caught my interest. But then, I am not looking for the least pretense smear the Church, nor, as a man, am I inclined to wear pink shirts. ;-)

Originally it did catch my interest, but I hung around a moment to see if they'd tackle him, but alas, as soon as he got near Dennys, it was over. Another day in the Matican. I wasn't looking for a pretense to smear the church, although I'd jump if the opportunity arouse.

The pink shirt comment. Friend of mine filmed his two male friends who were wearing pink shirts. They were walking around holding hands on the Main Street Plaza (owned by the Morg). Neither were gay, it was simply for fun. It was great to see all of the looks. There were no less than six men in black who were shadowing them, at a distance. Hence my pink shirt statement and my MIB references.

I remember when my friends and I used to do such things...

Yep. Mormonism does that. Takes the fun out of everything.

Now you're all serious, like.

Were you not looking for the least pretense to smear the Church, then it is unlikely that you would have posted this thread, and even less likely that you would have posted it by characterized the Church in such a demeaning and cartoonish way. Be honest with yourself. Your slip (of religious prejudice) is showing--pink or otherwise. ;-)

I know. I now only own one pink gingham shirt, and only wear my “I Can’t Even Think Straight” shirt about once a month.

Damn post-pubescent maturity... er... I mean, Mormonism.

Hmmm... tempting, but the majority of my friends don't wear underwear. If I can't have that perk, then what's the point?

You clearly missed the humor and fun in what he and I have said (I started adding smiley faces so as to minimize the confusion). Did anti-Mormonism do that to you? ;-)
