I don't expect you, Infymus, to follow all posts, but I have freely disclosed earlier on this board that I was a bishop. I have denied being a "former bishop" when somebody challenged me with that.

As far as my kid information, that was reall surprising. I cannot see how on earth that would be available on the internet. Perhaps it available by paying a fee on one of those person locator websites. It has my house wrong and a kid missing, my 6 year old.

As far as me changing my tune on anonymity, that ain't gonna happen. There isn't a reasonable right-thinking person anywhere who will agree that saying nasty things about somebody anonymously is a good character trait.

As far as me not acting in a Christian manner consistent with my position, I am not your bishop. You should treat me no differently, no worse, no better. Conversely, I should act as a good Christian irrespective of what position I hold in the Church. I respect you all, even if you are vile sinners.

Silly crocket, conflicting statements are for kids!

I thought you didn't respect anonymous cowards. What gives?

And I respect you, rcrocket, as a human being, even if you are a bravado-laden, lawyering, vile Mormon marathoner.

Robert, you tossed the softball, so here's the swing.

And is your contention that saying nasty things about somebody under one's own name IS a good character trait?

I'd hate to see my children's information on the net either. It was bad enough when the Mormons printed their names in the Mormon Ward Directory. I immediately demanded that my two children, of whom neither had been blessed (under the age of 8) should be posted in such a directory. The following year and this year, both names have been removed and stayed that way.

I respect you all, even if you are vile sinners.

From one who posts anonymously to hurl vulgarities at me? Chuckle.

According to Christianity (at least the EV way I learned it) we are all vile sinners!

Why?

I explained it already. It is ultimate hypocrisy to use a standard you do not apply to yourself against another.
