I suppose there are other terms that don't explicitly denote defilement such as auto-eroticism. Either way, I think it's kinda built into most human cultures to be ashamed or at least to acknowledge it as something peculiar or (unfortunately) humorous. Is it not a common insult that someone must be a real loser if he finds companionship in blow-up dolls? What's the difference between that and the compact, portable version (ie yourself)? How common it is?
Even if it is natural, I think it something most people would continue to feel embarassed over just as most are embarassed by passing gas no matter how natural it is (pun not intended).
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy. eritis sicut dii I support NCMO

I just assumed it was his masturbation prop.

Hmm. I'm not sure. Maybe if they prefer blow-up dolls to real women. But if it's because they can't get women - i don't think it would be anything to be ashamed of.

Or how about a dog? or a horse, or a corpse? etc.

WK: "Joseph Smith asserted that the Book of Mormon peoples were the original inhabitants of the americas"
Will Schryver: "No, he didn’t." 3/19/08
Still waiting for Will to back this up...
(by the way, much to my relief, I remembered my AP's name was Dan Pratt, not Allan. It disturbed me to think that the Elder Pratt I was once fond of turned into THAT guy.)
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I think he knows how to handle himself on the podium quite well. ;)
True. But he's probably a hard guy to get along with. Which is understandable - he has his hands full with those missionaries.

Ummm, I think you missed the pun behind asbestoman's post. Or maybe I missed your pun. Or maybe everyone's been serious all along and I'm all on my own here. :O
