I think that I can understand Wade. It seems to me that Mormondiscussions can soon merge with RFM if it is not careful, not to mention the postmorg. Things do seem to be getting out of hand lately. Certain Mormon haters are beginning to take over the board. I don't mind personally but I can see where an active Mormon would.

Wade,

Please tell us how your recovery from MD comes along. At least drop by and share some tips on how you have overcome the neuroses that motivate you and the rest of us to spend precious minutes and hours talking Mormonism to death (ours, that is). Maybe you can share some valuable insights about your illness and ours (which is surely related in some way).

Best wishes!

Interesting way of looking at it. I would think that you'd be more interested in focusing on the positives. Oh, well!

Just because he doesn't use "vulgar" language, it doesn't mean he's not using ad hominem. I've been in conversations with Wade where he has insulted my level of intelligence. I'd rather have him call me a dirty word than say I'm an idiot. It all comes down to perspective. If you're going to personally attack another poster, prepare to be countered. Otherwise, stick to the topics and behave rationally. It's pretty simple.

I completely agree.

It's like the obese Mormon getting on someone for having a cup of coffee and breaking the word of wisdom.

Do these people not get the hypocrisy?

WK your post reminds me of a T-shirt I saw a while back. It read:

My mother doesn't understand the irony of calling me a son-of-a-b***h.

Some posters are like that.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say the unpopular thing. The sisters of this ward aren't doing such a hot job of appropriate either and I don't exclude myself from that observation.

You are doing fine Jersey, don't let this cultist twist your own self opinion and habits to suit his own unwarranted temper tantrum.

From time to time wade has pulled this stunt. I believe that his recent "offended" tears come from the fact that he does not like my questioning his sexuality, something a level headed person can usually confront. If he is offendedby this level of questioning or insinuation of his sexuality then he should confront the issues at hand instead of whining like a little B***h and once again crying about being mistreated.

This is an interesting theory. There has been a fair amount of on-going speculation regarding Wade's possible "issues" with same-sex attraction. I don't think it is too far out of the realm of possibility to assume that this was the reason for his Court of Love.

Using the word B***h with stars in it doesn't make it any more approriate for the Terrestrial forum, in my opinion.
