A lot of my favorite TV shows are canceled, and I own them on DVD. Here are a few of my faves:

Sex and the City
Seinfeld
Friends
Will and Grace
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Frasier
Top Chef
Work Out
Project Runway
American Idol

I actually don't have much time to watch TV with my schedule...and the time I do spend watching TV is normally spent watching what my 3 year old wants to watch...which normally includes either Disney DVD's, Star Wars DVD's, Curious George, and Sesame Street. LOL

Edited to add---When they asked this question on FAIR, and I listed that my favorite show was "Sex and the City", my post was deleted. LOL

Oh - and Heroes and BSG. Duh.

I DVR everything, then watch when doing laundry, eating lunch while the kids nap, etc. I don't have much downtime, so it usually takes a while to empty the DVR.

You're the only one that's mentioned this show. It's one of my favorites. Actually, this season hasn't been as good as last season though.

If anyone hasn't watched it, rent the first season of heroes - one of the best tv shows out there.

edit - i see skippy mentioned it as well. great show!

I think the first couple episodes are mainly intended to rebuild a story line - the action is accordingly a bit slow. I expect things to pick up. (Still haven't watched last night's epi yet - that's on tap for this afternoon if I can get to it).

I was soooo worried there wouldn't be a season too. Some of the story line was a bit herky jerky in the first season. Disappointed that some characters were sort of put off (Claire's best friend) and others weren't fully developed. But I've sort of stuck it out hoping it'll get better.

I watched Invasion when it came out and was so disappointed when it was cancelled. Hoping Heroes keeps it together and gets better.

Oh and if you go to the Heroes website there's an online comic book that adds to the story line. It goes along with each episode. Course this is fun for me because I'm a comic book dork, but others may like it as well. :)

The SciFi channel, which is:
Dr. Who
Heroes
and a few others

Absolutely no sit-coms, soaps or nighttime soaps

History
Discovery
NOVA
A&E sometimes
Law & Order

Football
Boxing

Sorry Liz... I don't think I watch anything you watch.

Skippy, what is BSG?
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

Oh, I forgot to add that I do watch those Forensic File shows at night sometimes. Which is never a good idea. They scare me to death.

I also read the online case files often and sit on my couch terrified after reading or watching and consider all the crazies that are stalking about.

I used to really enjoy Law and Order Special Victims Unit but don't watch that too much anymore.
