Hey meek person, perhaps your infinite humility will help you find an answer to the following question: what makes you think you're opening up new knowledge to anyone? What makes you think you are authorized to be the teacher of truth? Perhaps it's your humility talking when you pronounce these imaginary God-haters, whoever you think they are, to be dumb and incapable of learning? Looks like it's been a while since you've read Matthew 5:22.
Skeptics don't claim to be in exclusive possession of truth, by the way.
So who is really being meek here, I wonder?
The glassy stare from behind the eyes of people puzzling to catalogue what they are now hearing is a good tell that they have never heard such a thing before. Frequent uhuhs, yeahs, and I know, I know is another good tell if they have nothing substantive to add. Which of course they would if they did know and their yea was yea, and their nay was nay.
Notice how you insisted upon seizing the right to define terms? And I guess that was a kneejerk appeal to hide behind proper authority from past thinking patterns. I value meekness, sure, but where have I vaunted myself the great humble and meek one? I would like to see the fear of God and a little meekness in others who for example claim to be pristine skeptics as if that carries any virtue or weight.
I was called pure evil by Keene for suggesting that man was limited before Almighty God. Now, I cannot say something new without being nonmeek and a pompous a**. I at least give the Lord glory for being in me by gifts and powers I ascribe unto the God of the gospel.
I will less and less defend against personal assails.
They're neither wind beneath my wings
Nor strength against my sails.
(Oh, what? should I self-attribute this verse or just pretend I don't know who might have first said this? Gee? What would a meek and humble guy do? These skeptics just dominate me with their demands)
