I didn't know even had the amount of tears in me that I've cried this week (death of my beloved grandmother and true mother--a death that was exactly right and painfree, btw---and the attending family BS that has driven me to contemplate both murder and suicide).
Being in Utah nearly two months has been an extremely strange experience--beyond my expectation and I expected it to be difficult and strange. I've been, I don't know how to describe it, feeling entirely new emotions, maybe. Why does the world have to be such an overwhelming beautiful and overwhelming painful place?
Anyway, find me a job in Dresden and I'm there. I even have a potential project dealing with german history that I want to write with my Finnish friend, Taru. We'll move in with you, ok?
You are on! I have room and there is a university here. I bet you could get a job no problem.
And definitely if you are here doing research, I would be offended if you didn't stop in, take off your shoes and stay a while!
Really!
And I am truly sorry for your loss at this time. It's not fun I know. And my little problems are nothing to that. Thanks for the post. I do appreciate it!
You'd be even more excited if I sent you a picture of Taru and myself.

Exactly!
I mean, I don't have anyone or anything else to do it. You think I would give that up? And the ear cleaning: my heavens!

What's holding you back? You have my e-mail address still, don't you?

Would you fight tooth and nail over a young man who suckles fingers?

I was hoping Taru was a woman. LOL In Japan, taru would be male. That wouldn't turn me on so much as if taru was a female. Well, actually not at all (I mean thinking of the two of you here in my place, it would be much more exciting thinking it was two beautiful women coming to stay. You know what I'm trying to say here.)
Send away: hi-res or low-res. Of course, if you grant permission for me to see them.

Aww, Gramps, I'm so sorry!!!
At least you got the dog! *hugs*
We just got a new kitten the other day and I swear it is the cutest damn thing I think I have ever seen in my life! Even my husband has a soft spot for it (he is not a pet lover usually).
Bond, cry if you wish! Yeah, it may be a bit unmanly to cry at the drop of a hat (like me), but teary eyes on occasion is totally ok. ;)
I haven't seen "Where the Red Fern Grows" since I was a kid, but I do remember crying at the end.
