I think Nephi's days as an active Mormon are numbered. It's inevitable, I think.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

I think the fact that nobody on MAD considered him a "real" Mormon from the get-go has helped clear his mind. I know it worked for me when I started posting on blogs and message boards while still considering myself a TBM.
What's the point of being in a fellowship that doesn't even recognize you as a part of itself if you tell them how you really feel?
Book of Mormon, you might be a bit confused about Deborah and Garden Girl. The former is a rare numbskull eager to accuse everyone of arrogance while asserting her own humility (her favorite argument is "how dare you disrespect polygamous wives/black people/LDS women by saying the Church treated/treats them like crap?"), and Garden Girl herself was fighting Nephi tooth and nail on the universalism thread arguing that universalism is a false doctrine which Nephi should abandon immediately and make sure he keeps his mouth shut about it to mishies and members. Perhaps she feels guilty now.
Maybe using ellipsis a lot really does make one seem nicer. I should try it...

I think it's a given that Beavis and Butthead are in constant need of a rosy ass.

Who was cruel to him here?
I like Nephi.
I think there were some who disagreed with him on issues, but not in a cruel way.
Do I need to spank Beavis and Butthead again?

Nephi posted some nasty things about this board on the MAD board:
Excuse me? Many strive to offend? Many call names? A lot of negativity? Well, I guess we should be grateful he says a few of us are nice! And MDB is for anyone who wants a level playing field, member or non-member.
Good grief.

Quick question: who is Dartagnon, over at Mormondiscussion.com, what is up his rear end, and why all the John Gee hatred?
I hang out at mormondicussions and I have no clue who his equivalent account is here. I can say this; many of those over there will call names and strive to offend those who come over there. There is also alot of negativity there as well (which is why I do not debate over there anymore), but there are a few nice individuals there. MDB is more for ex and non members than for members.

Aw, don't be too hard on him. He's had a rough time, and besides, consider the audience he's writing to.
