It sounds really good. I think the mix is great. Your recording dude did a good job with the drums. The saxamaphone part is my favorite. I can't wait to hear the other stuff you guys are working on. For some reason, the lyrics and the way the singer sings the verse remind me of Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues. Cool.

Thanks a lot man. We were all pretty amazed with what he did with the drums. He has a studio attached to his house. His house has this huge, two-story entry way with a vaulted ceiling. He had the drums set up in there, and ran mics into that room for recording. There were a few issues with this particular song (as it was the only one we didn’t use a click track for), but overall we’re all pretty happy with it.
And thank you dude for the saxamaphone props. Bryan (the singer) is going to be all giddy when I tell him about what it “reminds” you of. He’s a huge Dylan fan.

We're still kind of "up in the air" over the album topic. The label may put out a compilation with a few of our songs, but overall we will probably just stick with the digital medium (i.e. iTunes, etc.). Too often you end up buying an album for one or two songs, and are stuck with a bunch of “fluff.” We’re kind of thinking about bypassing that issue and instead just trying to record only “singles” and let people buy only the songs they want. If we ever play at an all-ages-non-bar setting though, I will definitely let you know.

Not yet. We still need to have it mastered, etc. first. We just wanted to get it up on the myspace page so we'd have something people could listen to.

I like it!
It kind of sounds like The Byrds or The 4-Seasons a little, that old 50's style. I love the harmonies in it.
