I just saw the last sign of the end times tonight. American Gladiator is coming back on NBC.

Pretty soon the witches will show up, trying to tell me about what a tesseract is. Its like we have been sidelined into an alternate universe where mediocrity repeats itself.

I think that clip is on par with a scene in The Exorcist where she spits up pea soup all over the priest.

(As a sidenote....I used to love American Gladiators. Sure it's corny....but there are times in one's life when the only thing that makes much sense is a game of Powerball or Assault between a couple of Joe Schmos and Nitro and Laser. My only quam is that American Gladiators should be expanded to deal with other issues. Like Wars....couldn't we have representatives run the Eliminator in order to settle disputes? Or rather than have presidential campaigns couldn't we have Hillary and Obama settle it with the Joust or The Wall? I see possibilities.....Larry Csonka could even get a Nobel Peace Prize.)
