If the Word of Wisdom was written today...?
If the word of wisdom never existed, and the current Prophet and Q12 decided to write one today (or received revelation today, for you TBMs) how different would it be? Would it still ban "hot drinks?" And if they still had a ban on hot drinks, would it include hot chocolate and Campbell's soup?

Well, since this is an international church, it'd say to always wash your hands before eating anything and always boil your water before drinking it.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Gluttony is still a sin.
If you can't run a half mile without getting weary and walking from the couch to the fridge makes you feel faint, you're doing something wrong.
Six-packs are God's gift to women, don't deny your woman the gift of God.

BMI is worthless, in my opinion. Body fat %'s are a much better measure.

According to BMI, I'm on the verge of being obese (if I gain 1 pound, I'll be obese... something to strive for I guess).

If verse 11 of the WoW remained the same, I imagine we'd get an influx of converts. Verse 4 might be changed from "conspiring men" to “corporations.”
I wonder if it would have to include things like “brown-brown.”
Maybe it would ultimately just be simplified to “Don’t be stupid.”

Heh. Yeah, I'm in the middle of the 'overweight' category. Even though I'm wearing the same size jeans as i was in college, when i was 35 pounds lighter than i am now.
