(PS Your hair is funny)
I have unruly, curly hair. It was a lot longer, but I got it cut right before the trip. That pic with the weiner is me after a couple days with no shampoo...just soap. I also wore the beanie a lot and it interfered with my 'do. Those are my excuses, at least. :)

Hey, I like SilentKid's curly hair!
The Aqueduct picture is my favorite, too. It's gorgeous.
That tree is very little and makes you look very tall, SilentKid! Or, maybe you are very tall?
Thanks for the pics. You're a good photographer!
I want to go to Europe!! *Stomping feet and having a fit!*
Still jealous,
KA

That tree is just about the right size for the dude that wore that suit of armor in the other pic. ;) I'm 6'5". All the tables and chairs in the cafes in Spain were too small for me. Thanks for the compliment about the pics. I think my camera did most of the work.

I didn't eat anything too exotic. In Munich I had to have a good bratwurst and some of those awesome white, boiled sausages (I'm not sure what they're called...gramps would know). I also had some of their great local beers. I tried Pernod but didn't like it very much. In Spain I ate a lot of bocadillos (which are sandwiches on baguette bread). Mostly pork products like lomo, chorizo, and bacon. I also had what they call a tortilla which is like an omelette (just eggs and potatos). I'm not a coffee or tea drinker, so I missed out on that part of the local café scene. I drank a lot of Coke Light (Diet Coke). They eat a lot of seafood in northwest Spain. My friends wanted to try pulpo (octopus), but I'm not that brave and my marine biology background made me feel a bit queasy about it. Octopi are the most intelligent invertebrates and I only eat dumb animals. ;) I told them that eating octopus would be like eating dolphin. Ha.

Silentkid, would you mind giving us a link to your blog? I think you've shared it before, but I can't find it.
Perhaps you should add a link to it in your sig line? Just a thought.
Thanks,
Kimberly Ann
PS - About the octopus: At our new aquarium in Tulsa, the octopus initially escaped it's exhibit several times! It's smart. I think they've managed to confine it to it's own spot now.
