TD, I have seen you post very intelligently on the board. This is not one of your better efforts. I have repeatedly given you the answer. You close your eyes, cover your ears and go "la la la la la."

I won't return your nastiness.

There is an answer. I have repeatedly told you. And if there are any small questions left over, we have to go to a higher authority. The fact that you don't want to acknowledge it, doesn't make it not true.

I acknowledge your response. I understand your belief that everyone has the light of Christ. I realize you believe God will judge.

I just disagree that your response answers my question.

I'll leave it at that.

Thanks for finally admitting that there is an answer, even though it is one that your paradigm does not recognize. I was really tired of all those "you didn't answer my question" when it was clear that the answer was there, but you judt didn't want to accept it.

What do believers do with conflicting testimony?

Compare with scriptures and official doctrine. If such does not address the issue, one can safely discount, for themselves, any requirement to believe the testimony of others on the issue though they may also seek to see if they can gain such a testimony for themselves.

However, one should not discount in these cases, that the testimony and spiritual witnesses of others might be true.

I'm thinking you misread. Notice the bolded line above.

I specifically wrote, "I disagree that your response answers my question." Perhaps you missed this.

I understand you responded... again, I do not think your response answers the question.

I realize you think it does.

If I ask a child how much 2+2 equals and they tell me the sky is blue, they are responding but they did not answer the question in any meaningful way.

Until you can give us some way for those who are misled and who "know" they are NOT misled, to realize they indeed are misled, you have not answered the question.

Your statements do not address the above. It is fine. No problem.

You suggest God will take care of it. OK. This has nothing to do with how a person can know if they are misled when they "know" they are following the light of Christ.
