Nice way to lie with polls. Look at the first line:

"Only about one in three Alberta earth scientists and engineers believe the culprit behind climate change has been identified, a new poll reported today."

I feel like I just read the following:


"Only about one in three American biologists and plumbers believe in evolution"

This is such a totally sneaky piece of bogus crap designed to create a false impression about the scientific concensus. Look! There is no reason at all that engineers should be included in such a survey except to skew the results. There are way more engineers than there are climate scientists (and more plumbers than biologists I bet). And why Alberta? This subterfuge doesn't fool people with brains.

Tell me what percent of top climate scientists think that human activity contibutes to conditions that promote global warming.

Hey, us engineers are usually partial scientists and partial mathematicians as well. We set up experiments and prototypes to improve processes, machines, etc. The only problem is that I don't know any climate engineers so your point stands. I wouldn't be any more qualified to speak on global warming than a plumber. The only difference is that am more likely to have a college educaton with a BS degree. Doesn't mean I studied climate.
