What the Hell is this "Dexter" of whom you all speak?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

A Showtime series based on the "Dexter" books by Jeff Lindsay, about a serial killer:

CBS is airing "sanitized" versions of Season 1.

Sanitized version? What am I missing sanitized versus unsanitized?

Shades, it is really a sort of sick show. DH won't watch it with me. Dexter is a police forensics investigator and at the same time, he is also a serial killer I guess you could say. His victims are those who victimize others. I think it is the psychology aspect that I find interesting.

It airs on CBS on Sunday nights at 9PM CST.

Post edited... just found a better explanation from the public library catalog
Summary: Dexter Morgan is a Miami police forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer of criminals who he believes have escaped justice.

There's a bit more colorful language, an occasional boob, and some slightly more graphic slicing and dicing.

The character of Dexter is absolutely fascinating, and it's even more fascinating when you find yourself rooting for him.
