Are they all done on graph paper?

I believe so. I think I saw some of these once, but I'm not sure...

The Larkin dispensational charts are wild!

I dig the one on the failure of man. "Paradise lost" and "the trail of the serpent." The one on "The Heavens" is really cool. It's like some kind of cosmic combustion engine.

Some of those drawings would make great album covers.

Tru dat. I think Vonnegut would make for some nice album artwork too...

.

I remember reading Breakfast of Champions (a.k.a. Goodbye Blue Monday) and laughing out loud at his drawings. My favorite was his beaver drawing, but that wouldn't make a great album cover...maybe a t-shirt.

OMG. www.shorpy.com

The Kodachrome galleries are to die for. The site has all the WWII women in armament factories photos that I was using for my avatars recently. I'd swiped 'em from the LOC.

(Don't miss the story of Shorpy Higgenbottom after whom the site is named)

Speechless. Haunting... speechless...

Thank you.

Blixa wrote:Sorry not to reply sooner. I've been waiting to get back into the website after being shut out for 15 hours or so. I had tried to change which email was associated with my account --- I put in this email I use most often and my password--- then I got a message that said the email had been changed but now the account would be inactive until I got an email or something from the administrators. I thought I'd get an automatic email with a link to reset the account maybe, but no.

Why would things be set up like this? If I use my password, why can't I change something in my account without getting
locked out? I tried to make a second account so I could get in and pm someone, but that required some kind of nonautomatic email from the administrator, too. Seems strange for a board that prides itself for letting anyone in.

Blixa, the exact same thing happened to me about a month ago. Fortunately I could log on with my other account and send a message to Shades. But, I was locked out all day of this account.
