To think this whole thing was started by that (former?) moderator Sam Harris... I wonder if she gets any satisfaction out of watching this p*****g contest...

Actually it didn't start with her, she's was just part of it. She thought by going after you and me in harrassment posts, (she went after me more aggressively than you in other threads), she was doing another mod a favor and Kevin a favor and the board. Her impression was that everyone in the admin would support her. I'm not going to go into the whole chain of events but where it led to is Shade's writing up this critical post to JAK, myself, and kevin as if all 3 of us were trouble makers causing problems. When in actual fact it started with mods behind the scenes a few supportive of Kevin, quite willing to move a thread at his suggestion, Sam quite willing to attack us for mentioning ad homs against kevin, and Jersey Girl who wanted to keep the Celestial free of attacks... seeking mods including Shades to intervene. But the intervention did nothing to curtail, moving threads only serve to allow increased harassment by anyone intent on doing so. I don't think Jersey Girl was wanting the thread moved.

We (JAK, I and actually yourself) were the innocent by-standers, we were not the one's contacting anyone to do anything. Sure I created a stink when the thread got moved, and then contacted Shades made suggestions on what to do with harassment posts. It took me a week to find out why it was moved. Initially I was told people were complaining about the thread, but not told what they complained about. Finally Liz offered in a post on the board, that Kevin had suggested to her privately to move it. Her assessment of the thread was she didn't like the "feel" of it. Why should I or anyone involve themselves in a thread, take it seriously to have it moved and it deteriorate into increased harassment. Someone intent on harassing can do so and the discussion can not proceed. It's all fine and dandy at the beginning of a discussion but if people have spent time, it's not fair to them.

Ever since I got angry for the thread being moved, there's been Liz piping up every now and again to give the impression I and JAK did something wrong within that thread, with the seeming intent to deflect off herself and Kevin. It was so cute when she posts in this thread to sticky his post. Now Shades with his OP in this thread is carrying on the same impression by accusing us of making mistakes, and Keene who doesn't know what went on is adding to it. Not one of them wants to own up to the fact that essentially it was all the behind the scenes complaining about the board and particular individuals on it , talk amongst themselves, along with bias in favor of Kevin and against those opposed to Kevin and theism generally, that led to Sam attacking us, Liz moving a thread at Kevin's suggestion and Shades writing up his unwarranted criticism in the O.P.

I do acknowledge Shades is absolutely right, this board is for entertainment purposes.

to paraphrase his advice, 'don't use direct words like "stupid" in the Celestial ...just make sure you use phrases which in essence mean the same thing but it will be less obvious.

And "direct attack words" was never an issue, Kevin reserves those for Terrestial.

On the contrary, I've seen him call JAK "stupid" here in the Celestial Forum.

The mistakes of A) JAK derailing threads by "backtracking;" B) dartagnan using less-than-Celestial language in the Celestial forum, and C) you being overly-sensitive to dartagnan.
