Thinking about movies we like to see over and over again, I think a list of movie scenes I (and you) never want to see again would be interesting.

Here's a couple off the top of my head:

[list]1) In Saving Private Ryan during the major battle scene at the end of the movie the American soldier Caparzo (sp?) is stabbed in the heart after an extended hand to hand fight scene with the main German bad guy. That scene is perhaps the only movie scene to ever make me cry and I never want to see it again.

Actually, the character who is stabbed is the Jewish soldier, played by Adam Goldberg. Also, his killer was not the "main" German bad guy. That fellow is later shot and killed by Cpl. Upham (Jeremy Davies), who had initially petitioned to save him.

The soldier named Caparzo (Vin Diesel) is killed earlier in the film, after he's shot by a sniper. (You'll recall that it is raining in this scene, and that Caparzo is toting around a little girl who "reminds [him] of [his] niece.")

Thanks for setting me straight Scratch. I thought that was the main German bad guy because he is later seen in the Upham scene where Upham finally fires his rifle.

Yeah. Unnatural acts of violence make me cringe.

Kathy Bates and Jack Nicholson nude.

Yeah that is...ewww. But it was only Kathy Bates. Jack was luckily wearing some trunks.

I'm not sure if it's the same soldier that they set free earlier in the movie (during the part where the medic Wade is killed). :/

Another couple of scenes:

    1) The death of Hector in any movie of the Illiad epic (the Eric Bana death for example in Troy.) I never like the death of characters I like (or characters who normally shouldn't meet their death). I guess that's why they call it tragedy.

    2) That scene in There's Something About Mary where they show Cameron Diaz's neighbor Magda' topless. Not sure if that was fake or what, but I didn't really like that.

    3) Any scene from Godfather 3 with Sophia Coppola in it. Her acting is....painful to watch.

    4) That scene in The Deadzone (with Christopher Walken) where the guy impales himself on the scissors in the bathroom. OWw!

More (I think about these things when not thinking about work. God I hope I get on at Barnes and Noble).

1) The dining room scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (where they eat monkey brains and bugs and crap like that. Eww. I don't even like lettuce).

Oddly enough I have no problem with the scene where the heart gets yanked out by that priest guy, or the scene in Raiders where the Nazi's are destroyed by the Ark of The Covenant. *shrugs* :/

I just finished watching Naked Lunch...where should I start?

Other than that, the dead baby scene from Trainspotting still haunts me.

When the Nazi officer makes Sophie choose whether her son or her daughter is taken away to obvious death in Sophie's Choice. Meryl Streep was incredible and the officer the epitome of calculating evil.

Nevermind any particular scene, I never want to see any of Juno again. The dialogue in that film is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Just awful. I can't believe Diablo Cody won an Oscar for that horrid thing.
