I like Delta Center better, as well. My favorite right now is the Pepsi Center...not for it's name so much, but for the fact that it's probably the only arena in the US that has Pepsi rather than Coke products. I can buy a $4 Mt. Dew to go with my $6 hot dog.
Speaking of a $4 Mountain Dew, last week some friends played at the Beatle's Revolution Lounge inside the Mirage. My bandmate bought two (small) bottles of water for him and his wife. Cost... $14. I was talking to the owner of Pulsar Presents while there and he had a low-ball glass of Coke that cost him $6. Funny thing is, my other bandmate bought a Stella for $6. Evidently, Coke and Stella are cheaper than water in some parts of America.

Soft drinks and otherwise are where the big money is in the restaurant industry as well.

Is anyone here as annoyed with Doug Collins as I am? Could he be any more partial to the Lakers? If I hear him talk about Kobe trusting his teammates one more time...
I don't think he's said a single thing that doesn't have to do with Kobe during the course of a game. He's selling the Kobe product and I'm not buying it. Doug Collins is a tool.

I'd sock Doug Collins good if I ever saw him in person.

I wish this weren't so true.
Alas ... I'm afraid I am destined to spend my life rooting for losers -- at least when it comes to sports. Always been that way. Well, except for the Utah Stars back in 1970.

Still, the Jazz will win tonight -- if only to get our hopes up before shattering them once again come Sunday.

I'm pretty shocked at the way Utah came out through the first 3 quarters. It was an embarrassment to the franchise. Sign Williams to big money, dump AK for a few quality older players from a struggling team (defensive specialists, or a decent back up pt. guard) and we'll be in business.

If Utah wants Ron Artest, I think The Kings are willing to give him away for nothing. The Jazz probably wouldn't even have to give up AK. Go Kings!

haha Ron Ron. As though anyone in the Jazz organization wants the creep on the team.
