My untrained eye says the first photo has been airbrushed and "perfected"--It's a publicity shot so it's the ideal--I guess what men and women in advertising have determined is ideal. The second photo is the real deal--along with some unflattering shadow caused by poor lighting.

I know she's had cosmetic surgery and things didn't go well... yet, from some of the pictures I've seen of her it looks like she just isn't aging well. I don't know. I think it's unfortunate she's in the public eye and is made fun of routinely.

I don't think it's been photo shopped. A corset can do wonders for nipping a waist. She's just not holding her stomach in and she's not wearing make-up in the first one. She looks like what most celebs look like in real life...when they aren't being photographed at their best advantaged and all their flaws airbrushed out.

Oh! I adore corsets -- I collect them. Yet, there's a definite weight difference there just by looking at her breasts, legs, and arms. I don't know if the 2nd has been photoshopped but most of them are, usually.

I think she looks good in both pictures. I was just attempting to find thinner pictures and heavier pictures to help Jersey Girl out. :)

I hate to tell you this but when you're posting pictures of Jenna Jamison or JLH men aren't going to care if they're kinda curvy or twigs. They're total knockouts at either shape.

Thanks for the tip on sites rejecting the posting. I didn't know that! I think the corset photo of Jennifer Love Hewitt was taken when she was much younger. The first photo you posted of her is more recent, I've seen it. Those are good examples however, I don't think she had cos surg at any time so far as I know.

Let me continue and try to clarify why I posted the pics of Tara Reid.

First, I'm totally cool with cos surg if someone wants it.

I understand that celebrities have pap cameras on them shooting every angle. Recent photos of Spears in Costa Rica and still shots of her behind only are a case in point. I also understand that in certain professions appearance is of high importance.

I posted the photos because it looks like Tara Reid is one of those who has taken it to extremes. There are other photos of her tummy on google post-lipo and her tummy is actually wrinkled.

So why does someone like her do that? Is it because she's after the perfect body? Does she think she'll be more attractive to men? Do celebrities develop some sort of distorted body image?

You read over and over comments about Spears and how "fat" she is. She's had 2 babies and in my opinion she has a healthy body. Yes, I know she will try to slim down either for Balley's association or performing. I get that.

Do you all think that someone like Tara Reid has gone too far?

I also wanted to hear male opinions on this. Using Tara Reid or the photos that Moniker posted as examples, if that was your girlfriend/wife would you want her to lipo to achieve those before/after results?
