I'm an East Coaster, Jersey Girl! :)

I voted "Grill" because that's the way I prefer them cooked. We grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and ribs over the Memorial Day weekend.

Truth be told, I do microwave my share of hot dogs for my 4 year old, who eats both hot dogs and corn dogs like there is no tomorrow. LOL

I guess I'm really weird. I like BOTH catsup and mustard on my hot dogs! (Along with some finely chopped onion) (As long as the person you're kissing is eating onions, too, it's OK...LOL)

I don't like hot dogs. Bratwurst is much better. With good European mustard and a hard roll.

Preferably eaten while standing in the Bahnhof.

You're right, Jersey Girl. That was a much better use of my time. But I'm leaving anyway. Bis aufs Wiedersehen.

See? Now you can at least claim you accomplished something!

Curry Bratwurst. Ramstein.

Auf Wiedersehen, Herr Prof.

Would you eat a brat soaked in beer? :)

Jersey---

I am stunned that you did not include "deep fried" among your choices. You claim to be a "Jersey Girl" and yet you exclude that gem of Jersey hot dog cookery known as "The Ripper"?

Personally, I did not vote, since a good dog can be prepared in myriad ways. I do enjoy them grilled, but like pan fried, boiled, and microwaved as well. It really depends more on the quality of the dog itself, in my opinion.

I had leftover brats for lunch. Oh yeah. Grilled once, microwaved second time around.

As a matter of fact, I spent some time working as a short order cook in Jersey many, many years ago and deep fried hot dogs at patrons request. I find the process and the product to be of such a high level of revulsion that I couldn't bring myself to list it on the poll.

Deep fried hot dogs as well as turkeys, are an abomination.

That and the fact that I don't hang out at Giants Stadium (well, I would if I could get into a Springsteen concert) nor do I come from the Pinelands though I did use the "Jersey Devil" as a CB radio handle for a few years.

You got the Jesey Devil, down and on the side.

Uh, get over what? It was a serious question. As a TBM, i would have eaten beer brats, but I know others who wouldn't have. I'm just curious as to what DP's stance is.

Get over yourself.

Then start a thread about it.
