I really need to hold up a video store or something, I've never even seen an Indiana Jones movie. :)

Well you don't have to hold up a store...Netflix would probably be easier. But you gotta see them at some point. Feel free to skip Temple of Doom, but Raiders and Last Crusade are must!

I loved it! It was a great homage to "Raiders of the Lost Arc", which was my favorite of the original three.

I love the fact that Marion is back, and that she and Indy FINALLY get together for good this time! :)

This is definitely an "Indiana Jones" DVD I will own when it comes out.

Oh, yes! He's definitely still got it. Of course, I've had a crush on Harrison Ford since I was in the 7th grade and "Star Wars" came out.

He's my onscreen boyfriend. ;)

Okay, Liz. Now that I have confirmation, I'll review the old Indy movies and hie me hence to this new one.

Too bad they couldn't have had Sean Connery in this one.

I saw the new Indy movie Thursday night. I was a bit disappointed, really. I wish I could say I weren't.

I saw it yesterday. It was terrible. I'm going to post a review in the next few days. There was little to no tension, the plot was terrible, the funny parts weren't funny, and can you say Tarzan? Poop.

I luv silentkid's blog. I've stumbled upon it a few times and really liked it.

I totally agree about PG13 vs R movies. I want R rated movies too! Even if it's goofy gore R [300] or preachy R [Fight Club]...I want to see R. And I like seeing boobies too and all actresses should go topless [I'm talking to you Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston, possibly together, hopefully under a waterfall] and for that reason I like R rated movies.

edit: I loved Shooter and hated Beowulf as well.

Brad Pitt's bare behind was quite lovely in "Troy", a favorite R rated movie of mine. ;)

The Indiana Jones movie was ok. Id give it a 7. The reason for the saucer ship at the end is because the film was set in the fifties. The series was originaly done as a salute to the old hollywood serial films of the 30's and 40's, so this one set in the fifties was a salute to that time period, hence the hot rod, and the atomic bomb, and the sci-fi salute. I can't say I wasn't a bit disappointed with the action. I don't mind a hero surviving and gettign knocked around, but the things they survive in this are just ridiculous. Im willing to suspend my disbelief, but don't insult my intelligence.

Im very hyped up for the Dark Knight and Hellboy. It sounds like they both have great stories to tell and both were handled with care and love. Guillermo del Toro was a fan of Hellboy before he ever signed on to do the films, and Hellboys creator Mike Mignola is actively involved in the making of the film.

[Can anyone believe that Heath Ledger died at 28? And that he produced alot of quality work in a short time? Dang he'll be missed by me at least. I really like The Knight's Tale, The Patriot, and I thought Brokeback was very good as well]
