Tim Russert died.

Tim Russert, moderator of Meet the Press, died this afternoon of a heart attack.

I really liked him.

Aw, man. I really liked him as well. This is a real shame. He was fairly brutal in his interviews in that he pulled no punches and asked what needed to be asked. He was very fair, and you don't see much of that straightforward reporting anymore.

Ill miss him. Sundays wont be the same.

Perhaps the Mormon god smote him for being so hard on Mitt?

Actually the Mitt interview was great. The questions were fair and straightforward and Mitt came out shining.

It was the best of both gentlemen in the interview.
