Thanks, all, for your concern and suggestions. Much appreciated! Everyone will be happy to learn that I popped a couple Ibuprofen (the Wal-Mart brand version of em, anyway) and took an hour long nap and awoke feeling as good as new. I can't remember ever having a headache quite like it, but it seems to be gone now, so ye Elders of Israel can reholster your keychains!
I'm thinking (and hoping) that it was just a weekend of too little sleep catching up to me....
OK, I'm going to play Mom here. You still need to get checked out by the doctor. Blood pressure is a silent killer and headache like the type you're describing is a common sign.

My wife is insisting the same thing, so I'll probably be taking your advice whether I want to or not!

Thanks. :-)
So skip the doc and head over to your local supermarket and use their free BP machine back by the pharmacy.

6. use pressure points. One of the best pressure points is the one that is between your index finger and your thumb. (the sort of skin that connects the two) use your thumb and index from your opposite hand and give it soft circular massage (too hard and it really hurts). Switch hands every so often. Another is on the bottom of your foot, in the center area. If you want that to help you have to massage harder and sort of do it in either a small circle in a place that works the best or a up and down vigorous motion across the entire area. Final one I'll suggest is the ones in your shoulders. You can feel a Muscle going from the base of your neck to your arm, give it a sort of grip massage (where you grab both sides, apply pressure, and move the hand up).
