This is a duet I sang with Clodagh, one of my voice students, during a lesson this evening.

Wow, that was good. Notice you have a thing for show tunes... Still a little tinny on the recording end, but not as bad as last time. You two nailed it, Miss Liz.

Thanks, Angus! :)
Yes, I do have a thing for show tunes. LOL
I teach Musical Theater vocal techniques. It's my favorite genre. I love it!
Are you familiar with the musical "Spring Awakening"?
It has more of a rock feel...lots of guitar background.
The music is beautiful. The story is incredibly sad and moving.
I've ordered the score. Stay tuned, because I will be recording some things from that show before too long.

I gave it a listen, Miss Liz... Was all open minded and everything. Right now I've got Otep's (Another band you've got to check out) latest cranked in order to filter that out of my brain. I guess we have different definitions of what does and doesn't rock... Takes all kinds I guess.

Fair enough.
It is an interesting musical. It received a lot of flak for simulating sex on stage with nudity. I actually saw the scene, though, on youtube, and it's actually rather tastefully done.
