I will be one who will deeply miss Stu, that is if he will even be gone that long.

While this may not address Dr. Steuss' concerns point by point, I hope it helps:

Fake Bus Stop aids BYU Coeds
Elder Chuck E. Zinlov
Daily Universe
July 9, 2008
At the start of every school year, many freshman young women become disillusioned with life at the Y and seek to leave. The Residential Living Counselors say many of the stories are the same year to year. "Young Molly thinks her roommate LaCindy looked at her funny, or larger Caitlyn is mad that her skinny roommate Shelly has claimed the bottom bunk and she is unable to heft herself to the top bunk". These are stories they have heard many times, they said.
Last year they instituted a new strategy to help with this bolting from the Y problem, only to have the parents drag them back again. They decided to put a fake bus stop in front of the dorms. "The girls will congregate at the bus stop, and every few hours one of the counselors will mosey down and invite them in for milk and cookies. Then a mere five minutes after their consumption, they have completely forgotten why they wanted to leave." "Sometimes we are forced however to switch the bedding on the bunks around to solve the problem. Rarely do the young women even notice, thinking we are their Mom just cleaning their room."
The counselors say that thinking of such ingenious ways to keep the young women content till they receive their Mrs. degree is quite a challenge.

You're exactly right, Gaz, in what you said about improving the board. Speaking only for myself, my mind is on other things right now and I don't feel compelled to make the effort that you describe. Perhaps that was the mindset of the OP? I wouldn't know. All I know is that while Mormonism, religion and such are topics of interest to me, I go through periods of total burn out and/or disinterest and my attention turns to other things that are more creative, productive or satisfying than participation on a board.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Hey man. You should still drop by the off-topic once in a while to update us on your celebrity rockstar status. I mean, you can't just play shows at the House of Blues and then not tell us about them, can you? If you still use your myspace account, drop me note there from time to time. I'm going to try to make a trip to Vegas sometime this fall, probably October. We could go on another man-date.

But what if his beloved Givens finds out?
My biggest problem with this board isn't necessarily the tone or topics (although I could wish for improvement there). My biggest problem with it has been how much time I spend while I could be trying to learn other things (like how to body-check would-be car theives, play guitar or any musical instrument, or improve my language skills through reading poetry). We can't all be Steuss, but at least we've got something to aim for. Wth a big imposing guy like Steuss, it's hard to miss (or rather it's hard not to miss him).
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.
