BC,

Loved the Drivers seat song ! I knew the song but never knew the name of it or who sang it. That was great ! Also nice find on the Cars video, really enjoyed that.

I always loved that song too growing up but also never knew who sang it until a few years ago. Check out that stud guitar player and the bass on that back up vocal.

If you liked that one, you might also like this one which I also only recently found out who sang it....

I will always associate The Cramps with this song:

"whoo Hee Ha Ha" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQew7N3urOY

A friend of mind had a cassette of theirs, and that song always made me laugh. Hearing it now it sounds a little dirty, but I had no idea what he was talking about back in the day, it just made me laugh.

Ha! That is one of my daughter's favorite songs! When she was little we listened to NOTHING but a mixed tape of The Cramps in the car.... :)

Awesome. Had you heard those songs before, or was this the first time? Glad you dug em.

I had heard Against me (posted Thrash Unreal on the jukebox) the others are new to me. Although I had heard of Flogging Molly, just hadn't actually heard one of their songs.

Summertime is all about those long drives and the warm breezes as you play with the currents with your hand out the window. Heres a great song to accompany that......

Was driving around listening to a little bit of everything...

Bloodhound Gang - Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo

Reel Big Fish - Take On Me (Cover)

Primus - Tommy The Cat

Anthrax & Public Enemy - Bring The Noise

There was a lot more then that, but I don't feel like looking up several dozen songs on YouTube...

BC, I may not agree with you about close to anything, but I have to say you have a quintessentially summery list there.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

I tried to make it that way, but I think I failed. I like all kinds of music and listen to a lot of it. I also harbor Rock Star illusions yet so far I've been too chicken to even do Karaoke.
