What the heck.

I think that is a great attitude to have. So many people would die for what you have. You are not boring, you just have routine. Setting goals happens to sme people and they don't notice, everyone has an agenda for everything they do even if they don't realise it, but the ability to contro that agenda and be physically aware of it is a skill. I see you as a well organised person who is creative and sets out to do as they planned. Look at your Child play research and where it has got you!!! You have a chance to make a change to the lives of many people and your research and ideas concerning such in my opinion are right and you had/have the creativity and imagination and most importanly the understanding of a childs mind, life and experiences to go out and do something about it and I liked it. And I haven't decided properly yet, but I have an application for for volunteering as an event planner in the creche at my university and you inspired me. Boring people are not creative, imaginative and certainly don't do what they plan.

The research project is the motivation behind wanting to develop a style using the format of the blog. That's not what I'm going to write about there, but that's my motivation. Thanks for your enthusiasm! I love what I do. :-)

I knew that, that was why I made the ;) good luck with it.

If you're going to set up a blog, go ahead and do it at wordpress or blogger where you'll have tons of options. The blog feature here is very limited. [I wish someone had told me that before I blogged it out here for 1 1/2 years.]

I have maintained blogs on both wordpress and blogger, and have found wordpress a bit better. But that's just my opinion. There are more templates available right off the bat than there were with blogger [unless blogger has added a bunch more...]. Something else with either is the ability to have a blogroll, links, and whatnot, which you can't acquire here. Also there are solid spamcatching systems which don't exist on blog feature here, so you don't have 1432 comments with 2 real and 1430 spambots.

Thanks again, Bond! I really just want to use it for practice for a larger project I'm working on. I've looked at lots of blogs and I have to say, I wish the blogs here could have wallpaper and such as that. Your blog on wordpress is very well done. I'm still undecided about doing a blog here, but I probably will.

I recently got done moving my blog from Typepad (where I had to pay for it) to Wordpress (where it's free). Three years ago when I signed up for the Typepad account, they had some of the best templates and blog features around, and all the free blogs looked really cheap and silly. Now Wordpress almost completely outdoes Typepad's paid features with their free features. For example, I find doing pictures with captions to be way easier at Wordpress. At Typepad I had to code them as HTML tables myself.

I definitely think Wordpress blogs look better than Blogspot blogs. And I agree with Bond, the blogging features and options for the forums here are about as minimal as possible, though it's a nice thought. I just set up a forums blog here as a link to my regular blog at Typepad/Wordpress.

If you do sign up for a free Wordpress or Blogspot account, you can always set the account to not publish your blog until you're done practicing whatever it is you want to practice and are comfortable with the format. Then no one will see it while you mess around but you.

Have fun with it. :)
