Elder Shades' Missionary Journal: Now with pictures!

Post by _Dr. Shades »

Since the blog software update didn't recognize the old timestamps and thus jumbled up the order of the entries, I deleted them all and am uploading them again one-by-one.

Now that I finally have a scanner, I decided to include my mission photos this time around, too.

Although back then I had acne and hadn't had plastic surgery yet, I was c. 70 lbs. lighter, had hair, and didn't need glasses. So just because you see the pictures doesn't necessarily mean you'd be able to identify me on the street.

Enjoy (or not):

Elder Shades' Missionary Journal

That's only one of 10 that are up so far.

I burned my own missionary journal, and find nothing worthwhile about them, but the pics did make me take about the third look at Shades' journal. Nice pics.

That guy next to you appears to have been suckered in by a "Mr. Macs" trenchcoat sale.

I unfortunately also bought one of those. That buttoned up trenchcoat coupled with my scripture bag inspired a young scottish boy to ask me why I was dressed like a girl.

Since you mentioned it, why plastic surgery? You were so darned cute.

Very true! I've seen the adult version of Shades, I don't know why the surgery.

I'm curious.

Okay, nosy.
