New Recording
New Recording
OK, I have to warn my cynics with this one. It's religious. LOL
I just found the music for this tonight and forgot how much I liked it.
I'll probably sing it in Church sometime this month.

Re: New Recording
Sorry, Miss Liz. I was having an out-of-brain experience induced by severe lack-of-sleep.
Ok, keep in mind that I am not a fan of church music(don't worry, I made it all the way through without the POWAH of the LAWD causing me to burst into flames). Did you try something new with your recording set up this time? Your voice came out a lot clearer this time. Not much of the "I'm singing in a really small room". You've got a big room voice, so singing in small spaces if going to make you sound like you've got reverb or whatnot. Anyway, much clearer recording, great balance on the piano/vioce mixing, and as always, you've got a lovely voice. I still want to her you belt out some motown or some old jazz numbers though.

I was afraid of the dark when I was young. "Don't be afraid, my son," my mother would always say. "The child-eating night goblins can smell fear." Bitch... - Kreepy Kat
Re: New Recording
Thanks, Angus! Actually, yes, I bought a new mic! That's why I wanted you to hear the balance.
Yeah, sorry about the song. I have to admit, I do like that particular piece, though. LOL
I'm still working on "I Get A Kick Out of You".
I downloaded the music last week, but I have to work out the piano part. LOL Stay tuned. :)

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. - Plato

Ping me when you sing something popular with real instruments.
Do you sing any heavy sh it, like Metallica? That would be rockin and bitchin.

Metallica isn't really my scene.
To each his own. Angus likes metal, but he likes my voice, too.
Sorry I sing too Streisand'ish for your taste. ;)
Re: New Recording
Hmmm...possible. I'll have to see if I can find the music.

I can live with that. Barbara has made several million several times over, so she must be doing something right. LOL
