McCain is a problem for the left because there really isn't much to attack on him. Despite decades of experience in Washington, all the dirt the dig up on McCain ends up being snow and it melts in their own hands.

Obama has been in politics for such a short period and he has already racked up all sorts of points for his critics to pound him on. His connections with extreme left wing fanatics like Acorn, Ayers and his preacher are just starters. The fact that he has accomplished squat is another. The fact that he has been a partyl line voter is another. And of course, his stupid comments that reveal just how little he really knowson virtually every subject that matters to us. It scares me to think this guy will be our Commander in Chief soon. His knowledge on military matters is ridiculously shallow, and his ideas and rants make the General's cringe.

Just because you got a guy who makes people think of MLK, and can sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves, doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about and should be handed the most important position in the free world based on his race.

I've observed that you are correct about this, and I've been very impressed with your approach in these discussions.

I don't mind discussing it either. I've actually enjoyed much of what antishock has had to say, for instance, despite many disagreements.

The main thrust behind the attacks on Palin rely on psychoanalyses of those who don't want to give her the benefit of the doubt on her experience and knowledge, while at the same time engage in alls orts of convoluted rationalizations as to why its OK for Biden to be an overt moron who really couldn't utter two truths in a row if his life depended on it.

Your double standard. You refuse to hold Biden accountable for his lack of intelligence and excuse his propensity for making ridiculously false statements. But its OK to psychoanalyze Palin and say she was intentionally being coy in her responses to journalists because she really doesn't read magazines and she really doesn't know of any Supreme Court rulings, etc.

How have I made this "personal"? I asked a simple question. Can you name anyone else who has been attacked as has Palin? It pertains directly to your comment above.
