Well, at least Senator Biden knows what era he is in...
Oops. Not.
Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie's restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time, and you ask anybody in there whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years.
Katie's restaurant closed 20 YEARS AGO.
And we're supposed to believe this jackass spends any time in a Home Depot? Uh. Yeah. Ok.
Well, thank god he knows what he's talking about regarding foreign policy:
When we kicked -- along with France -- we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon.
Hezbollah was never kicked out of Lebanon.
Well, crap.
Well, at least he knows the Constitution and understands the division of power between the branches of government. Right?
When he was riffing on VP Cheney he said:
The Veep has "no authority relative to the Congress."
Except that it DOES. The Veep can be a tiebreaker vote... For Congress. D'oh!
Well, I'm sure he'll be a good budget guy, no?
With Afghanistan, facts matter, Gwen. ... We spend more money in three weeks on combat in Iraq than we spent on the entirety of the last seven years that we have been in Afghanistan building that country.
The Congressional Research Service notes we've spent $172 billion in Afghanistan and $653 billion in Iraq. 2008 we spent $3 billion a week. So, Senator Biden thinks we've spent on $9 billion "on the entirety of the last seven years that we have been in Afghanistan building that country." Wow. Just wow.
If Governor Palin had said any of this she would have been drawn and quartered.
