Whoever is elected, we here in America need to support and work together as citzens of the UNITED States of America. Division will be our downfall, exactly as it was with the Nephites. There is, after all a reason the Book of Mormon is in OUR hands, is there not?
The Democrats have led the way in devisiveness over the last 8 years by, for instance, politicizing the war. However, people are not going to compromise their principles. Jesus predicted this in Matthew 10:34-36 and that is how it's turning out. The war has only just begun.
bcspace, who is going to be your president? A make believe one?
I'm overwhelmed about what this election means for our country and what it says about Americans. To me, this is more than just the rhetoric or the parties or the factions... it speaks of a country able to recognize faults in our society, self correct and move forward. That a black man can be elected to the highest office in our land only 4 decades after blacks attained civil rights is absolutely astounding, to me.

ABSOLUTELY AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now THAT'S the post of the day folks!
Whether you like it or not, he WILL be your president, if he is elected by the voice of the people. You won't be able to change that fact, unless (of course) you renounce your citizenship and leave the country.
Yet I will do everything I can to undermine him because I do not believe in his cause.
Hey... THERE is an idea for ya. Just leave. :) Problem solved.
Sore loser.
As I recall, it was Democrats renouncing their country in 2000 and 2004 and lining up for therapy. I doubt you'll hear of many conservatives doing that. My philosophy in these times is to repel boarders.
Oh, no biggie Ray......... But if it is even in the SLC precincts, it is astonishing!
Not really. I think the LDS population is down to 30 some odd percent in SLC and even many LDS there have always been apostate when it comes to voting on issues and candidates.
Now if we can get the biggest deal for me, failure of Prop 8.
I look forward to reveling in the loss that Mormon will feel! Especially the stupid fools who donated money to it!
I personally know 11 local members who have donated at least $1,000 each. One has donated $10k.
... our church isn't true, but we have to keep up appearances so we don't get shunned by our friends and family, fired from our jobs, kicked out of our homes, ... Please don't tell on me. ~maklelan

No, I will go Presidentless just as I did when we were thralls to Carter and Clinton.

This says to me "A black person voting for a black person just because he is black" or white guilt.
I don't care what skin color a president is, I care about their stands on the issues.

What on this living earth do you mean here?! Apostate when voting on issues and candidates? The Lord has revealed which candidates to vote for? Good flippin grief man!

You stupid fool. You honestly believe the crap that rolls out your mouth?
So, oh righteous and holiest of god's chosen, will you tell us that only righteous Mormons will vote for the McFossil?
