Re: Disastrous election turned to opportunity
The Democrats, the elected Democratic officials that is, famously have had a weak backbone with the Bush administration. In the last two years, it was a conscious choice by Pelosi et al. to avoid conflict in order to maintain a status quo favorable to the now sealed Democratic landslide. That includes taking impeachment off the table even though there was real good evidence of impeachable offense on the torture and spying fronts. Quite scandalous in my opinion.
Coulter's talking more about the anti-Bush left here, though. I take her comment as ironic as she caters to the exact crowd that was preaching authoritarian obedience to the president, regardless of your personal politics, out of respect for the office. Now that the office is occupied by someone who doesn't favor their personal politics, well...

Yeah, I suspect they won't be as fond of the Imperial Presidency any more....
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Ann Coulter is a douchebag who has so discredited herself with her incessant, mentally imbalanced, rabid sociopathic blather, that I no longer even really pay attention to her when her mouth moves and noises come out - and when I do, it's more for the sordid entertainment value of the spectacle, than taking what she says seriously.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

I think harpy is properly descriptive of Ann Coulter. Still, I have no problem starting today, not Inauguration Day, working to turn Obama and the members of the Congressional Democratic clown car out of office.

I think that the reason Obama won is because he provided that inspiration and fire that Americans have lacked for the past 20 years.
I don't know where did you live during the Clinton Presidency but I was in America and I think we did have damn good years under his leadership.

Extremist republicans went after Clinton the day after his inauguration.
Just wait. We are in for a slew of cottage industries sprouting up to peddle cheaply printed books on the OBAMA CONSPIRACY.
If I had no ethics I would invest in ammo and survivalist gear to sell to scared right wingers hoping to have their "american insurgent" wet dream. Every right of center nutjob is slobering at the thought that they will get to shout WOLVERINES!

If you don't get the reference consider yourself a sad shut-in :)

Is it your dream to fellate Mann Coulter? It sure as hell seems so.

Ann Coulter is an extremist political commentator. She makes her money by being extreme.
Like it or not, BC, most normal people live somewhere in the middle.
Ann Coulter IS the middle. You just don't like her modus operandi.

Do you know what middle means?
You think 50% of people are to the right of her and 50% to the left??????
OK. Name five educated people we have all heard of in this country that are further right than her.

Didn't you get the memo that crack is whack?
Most sane people would take my reference to Coulter as a harpy as a criticism but you're special, it seems.
