Does Dr. Shades Drink Beer?

Post by _GoodK »

I'd sure like to find out.

I'll be taking a detour before I head out to Denver for a few weeks and I'd love to grab a cold one with the visionary himself.

Will it happen? We will see.

The answer to that question is, "Very, very, little." I have acid reflux disease, and alcohol is one of my triggers, so my body can only tolerate an extremely small amount. I can handle one small bottle of light beer, but that's about it.

That can certainly be arranged.

Will it happen? We will see.

Let's work something out.

You ought to try knocking back a few A&W's or Barq's. Perhaps a little Ironport?

Look on the bright side: At least I can never become an alcoholic.

You probably enjoy warm breast milk too.

I have had the privileged of being in the dinner company of the good Doc.

A fine upstanding man who stands for unbiased truth.

I hope that the two of you, Good K and the good Doc can hook up.

Cheers.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar!

I hope that the two of you, Good K and the good Doc can hook up.

We did. Last Tuesday, to be exact.

A great time was had by all. GoodK ordered a pitcher of dark ale for us to share, but I was only able to consume about 1/3 of a glass.

GoodK is a generous soul. He waited 'till I went to the restroom, then paid the entire bill in my absence! Sneaky devil!

I learned something about GoodK that should make many, many of us jealous: He's making a living doing exactly what he wants to do.

How many of us can say that?
