This always amazes me. I have never had a Christmas time presentation about Joseph Smith in a sacrament meeting. It seems rather odd. I am sure it happens. But I have not yes experienced it.

I have. Once, about 5 years ago, now. It wasn't well received. Not surprising... we are rebels in my ward. We still have our picture of Christ hanging in the chapel.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I am happy to report that today's Sacrament was totally Christ focused. All three member of the BR spoke and it was totally about the Savior and Christmas themes. The choir did two lovely Christmas songs and the congregation did three Christmas hymns.

We ended Relief Society and priesthood ten minuted early and went into the cultural hall. The primary was on the stage in a nativity type scene and they sang three or four Christmas songs to us.

It was a lovely Christmas program. Not one word about Joseph Smith in Sacrament.

I am happy to report that this year's Christmas program was exclusively about Jesus. My internet plea was answered.

We know this board is monitored. I imagine valid points as well as negative attacks are reported up the line of command.
