Hi Pirate,

I was a Missionary for the LDS Church for two full Years. Being a Missionary is a lot of hard work.

The first thing I would suggest, before you do any other thing, is to make and keep a vow to avoid this message board at all costs.

Then I would set out to read the Book of Mormon "with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ."

If, after doing so, you receive the knowledge that it is true, by the power of the Holy Ghost, then you will be ready to serve a mission. Short of that, you might as well stick around here until exposure to the miscreant disbelievers on this board erodes the faith you currently possess, and completely conforms you to "fit right in" with them.

Did you discover the hidden goals of this board?

If she did this as the first thing, she couldn't have ever known your smart advices. (I hope the tenses are correct.)

Indeed. Long ago. It took about ... oh ... I'd say 3 seconds. At most.

Like what happened to you?

Of course, I represent a unique entity among believing Mormons. I am impervious to the machinations of the denizens of The Great and Spacious Trailer Park™. There are but few of us.

We are the champions.

You're better than the vast majority of your fellow-Mormons. Of course; it all makes sense now.

Yeah, let them stick around with us poor sinners. We are sooo miserable.

Lord, hear our cries. Me and Will are tormented! Our faith is being tried!
