I know that the LDS Church did not have its current name for 8 years after it was formed. It went through two other names first. Both being used by other churches. Some have written it also used two others during this time. If this is so can someone point me to a source?
How is it the True Church could not get its name right from the start? Minute details of little things got revelations but it took 8 years to get the name approved?
