Riiiight. And you're mind is open enough to consider the possibility that the book of abraham is a fraud, right?

Am I correct in guessing that you explaining your rationale for this would be a futile endeavor (and thus, I should not bother asking)?

I explain my rationale here: The Meaning and Purpose of the Kirtland Egyptian Papers

Obviously, if the Alphabet & Grammar is dependent on a pre-existing text of the Book of Abraham, what people have believed to be the "translation manuscripts" are nothing of the sort, thus the assumed linkage to the Book of Breathings text on the papyri is moot.

If that were the only linkage, you may have a point.

Please elaborate.

A wise decision on your part.

Obviously... if.

But until you produce the original document on which this was allegedly dependent, reasonable people are compelled to follow the evidence and not rely on desperate apologetic word counts and self-refuting arguments about similarities from other books. All this proves is these works all had the same source: Joseph Smith's imagination. No one outside BYU would see it any other way. No one.

If nothing else, at least you're willing to admit to your closed-mindedness.
