What doctrines must one believe in or adhere to to be a Mormon?
Or it might be better if I asked it this way, what are the doctrines that, if rejected, would exclude one from being a Mormon?
Thanks
Joe

Re: what makes a Mormon a Mormon?
I think the term "Mormon" is a catch-all for anyone who accepts at least some of the doctrine or is a member only for social and family reasons. However, I don't mind using it with a stricter definition as in one who accepts TSM as a prophet, the LDS Church as the only true Church on the face of the earth and accepts and believes enough of the doctrine to not be a political liberal (another convenient catch-all term) or a Democrat or any such thing.

I think anyone who believes in the Book of Mormon or Joseph Smith.
Although, I have seen the great idea that even unbelievers who spend hours upon hours researching Mormonism could be termed honorary Mormons.

So basically the fundies and CoC's are all Mormon too? I guess anyone can really call themselve whatever they want. Isn't this why the church tried to distance itself from the term Mormons many years ago. I remember being told to never identify yourself as a Mormon but as LDS.
