I'll bet there's a lot of families crowded into rented apartments, receiving government and church assistance, and with bankruptcies on their credit report now, who wish they had given heed to his warnings and counsel back then.

In the section marked for Mission Presidents, on page 102 of Preach My Gospel,
we read, "As appropriate, relate to missionaries how you receive revelation on transfers."

What is the difference? Both the MP and Area Sales Manager have a good idea that so and so will do a good job and that is the decision they make.
Revelation is surely just one person having a good idea. The fact that someone claiming to have a specific priesthood role, makes a decision and acts upon it, it's just that, something that is decided upon, dressed up in sacred terminology
we call it continuing revelation.
