Here is something else, and the introduction says that it contains as complete a collection of his speeches as the author could compile.

This afternoon I read Hubbard's book on him. AN ACCOUNT OF SA-GO-YE-WAT-HA or Red Jacket and his people. It had something about terrible things happening if the Indians converted to Christianity, similar to III Nephi.

Changing religion, custom and habits = Change into white or black men.

Whatever the writer of Book of Mormon meant, we know what the leaders and prophets took it as literal: “..Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so.” – JoD: vol.10 p. 110: (March 8, 1863)

probably a different discussion though.
..must make sacrifice of his own life to atone. for the blood of Christ alone under certain circumstances will not avail." - Bruce R. McConkie

And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, … Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man (a.k.a., Jesus) will be forgiven (Matthew 12:31-32).
