LDS Church Sinned Against The Gospel As Early As The 1850s

My thesis here is that the Mormons fundamentally changed the Church in the 1853-5 reformation that instituted today's FOLLOW THE PROPHET mandate. Before this time, of necessity, the Church relied upon the Lord to direct HIS Church. It was implicit that God led his own Church. The power of his Spirit was trusted to lead out.

When sustaining of your file leader became the upper most important determinant of righteousness, pandered after so blatantly, and still true to this day, as the only means to win the trust and confidence of Church leadership, those by-gone days are when the Restoration was sold out and the Mormons utterly forsook reliance upon the Lord and invested reliance upon the heads of Church Leadership. In fact the Mormons became suddenly a newly constituted Mother of Harlots and the New Whore of all the Earth, an abomination before the Lord. The LDS did formally deny the Lord his sovereignty by taking the right to rule unto themselves. The LDS leadership became a royalty unto themselves. One that has continued renewed often to be christened with awe and beggarly obeisance from every clime of Mormondom world-wide. Priesthood became priestcraft by not remaining sufficiently meek and contrite and submissive unto the Lord in all things.

We know that Brigham and Jedidiah Grant did this because they FEARED losing control. Precisely. That fear overcame the fear of the Lord to teach the people correctly and allow them to rule themselves knowing that they have set the people up upon principles of righteousness with power in the gifts of God. This they did not do nor did they even attempt it. Rather they sought the easier means of reigning in all power into their own hands and take away God's purpose to reign in the hearts of the people. Which purpose would lead to a real Zion.

Yes the priesthood offices were set up by the direction and commandment of Christ. But once you disenfranchise Christ from leading by the power of his Spirit, you have turned away and changed everything, becoming spiritually unplugged, unhinged and a thing of naught. Forever after the membership need not obtain the gift and power of the Holy Ghost for themselves. It serves no purpose for the membership to be original with God by power and the overflowing knowledge of Heaven. No, follow the Prophet and the brethren. What do you need an original revelation for? All virtue is centered in the head only. The Holy Ghost can only reveal truth and once that gift is interrupted by a redirection towards men and away from God its one and only true and pure source, the Church cannot be Christ's, worlds without end.

I am not talking about every person being worthy to receive revelation pertaining to their calling and responsibility. That is patently stupid. God is not constrained in this manner. So if you are stuck in teaching the 5 year-old children you will never learn anything greater than what can be given to a little child? Stupid.

The tares choked off reliance upon the power of the Holy Ghost in favor of the power of called to serve prominence. Appointed of men and all the more so as the younger membership that did not NEED an original investment of the gift and power of the Holy Ghost took over. They had effectively made themselves so much Popes and Priests wherein all virtue rests, which has remained the same today. Follow the Brethren is a repudiation of coming unto Christ and be born of him. Rather than teach people how to receive the gospel aright so that they all might be lead and taught as one by God, which can ONLY lead to Zion, all confidence was and still is supplanted away from God's authority and his gospel's power, turned to the high-mindedness of wickedness in high places. Wickedness because they had blasphemed God and changed the ordinance and altered the gospel of God and made it of their own fashion and after the likeness of the world.

Because the roots were good and that the gift and power of the Holy Ghost had truly been at times rightly manifested, with a true priesthood restored, the Lord has borne with the Church to see if ever fruit might come of it. Precious little to date. .

You might counter that I am over reacting. How so? Has there been an actuality of Zion that I missed somewhere ? No? Okay then. The voluminous spin of the web of deceit and sophistry was never lacking back in the early days of the Catholic repudiation of Jesus Christ's gospel. Why should it be any less today with so many eager to teach only what they are taught and breathe only that breath that is blown unto them? And that of men and not from on High.

I trust that I have repeated my thesis often enough that it can be well understood. Thoughts?

Would the Lord have given the pioneers directions to build the Salt Lake City grid system of roads? What about orders to fire on Fancher Wagon party or beat up the Federal Governors? No, there needed to be more hands on leaders for these elements in LDS history to have occurred.

I understand that the WORLD has even more effectively cast God out better than the Mormons ever did. 'Tis a fascination how the LDS evolved WITHOUT Christ in God into the hammer and chisel certitude of a spirit of their own make that they continue to validate themselves by.

What is unverifiable? My claim is self evident. How is it not? Think about it.
