Do you have anything more substantial or anything supported with references or quotes?

Hi subby, hope you're well,

interestingly, you've not been able to refute with anything looking remotely like a quote or a reference.

What factual information did you find out from sources other than Church prescribed sources?

Ben,

Hi Tobin,

My point is that Ben and Franktalk are in error compared to the Church's position on this. Whilst the Church counsels people not to expect Prophets to be infallible they also say Prophets will not, cannot lead the Church astray and that you should follow the Prophet in all things.

I like the comparison to the Catholics. The Catholics teach the pope is infallible, while members treat him as fallible. The LDS teach the prophet is fallible, and treat him as infallible.

I can't believe you don't know this stuff off by heart...

Fourth: The prophet will never lead the Church astray.

President Wilford Woodruff stated:

“I say to Israel, the Lord will never permit me or any other man who stands as president of the Church to lead you astray. It is not in the program. It is not in the mind of God.” (The Discourses of Wilford Woodruff, pp. 212–13.)

President Marion G. Romney tells of this incident which happened to him:

“I remember years ago when I was a bishop I had President Heber J. Grant talk to our ward. After the meeting I drove him home … Standing by me, he put his arm over my shoulder and said: ‘My boy, you always keep your eye on the President of the Church and if he ever tells you to do anything, and it is wrong, and you do it, the Lord will bless you for it.’ Then with a twinkle in his eye, he said, ‘But you don’t need to worry. The Lord will never let his mouthpiece lead the people astray.’” (Conference Report, October 1960, p. 78.)

I believe it's your turn to answer or concede...

which was done, it was in fact "revealeth-ed".
Or are you implying that a certain chronological order is required with regards to this issue (i can't find that reference in Amos)?
besides, its likely that the prophet was given such revelation but was also given revelation as to when it should conveyed unto all men.

Your arrogance is showing again...which is surprising considering what you actually bring to the table.
