apparently.

The Book of Mormon is rather consistent on points like this, it consistently follows the Masoretic text when it conveys the original meaning...as we see with chapters of Isaiah that are either completely or partially quoted.

What about 2 Nephi 12:16 ? It is not only different but adds a completely new phrase: "And upon all the ships of the sea." This non-King James addition agrees with the Greek (Septuagint) version of the Bible, which had not been translated into English while Joseph Smith was alive.

Joseph Smith was born in 1805 and died in 1844. He produced the Book of Mormon in 1829 (published in 1830). The Septuagint was first published in English in 1808. http://thetencommandmentsministry.us/ministry/charles_thomson/

Does it happen that that Latin word is used in Aramaic and Nephite? Does it mean Morning Star in that languages?
I have to ask, so what? The Book of Mormon does not say 'Morning Star' and instead says Lucifer, which means exactly the same thing.

Yes, I did realize the Book of Mormon is parroting the KJV. The word by word parroting is called copying. I did realize the Book of Mormon is parroting at large.
Again, so what? Are you saying the Bible is uninspired of God? The fact the Book of Mormon uses the english style of the KJV of the Bible does not prove a thing otherwise.

You are creating purely artificial reasons to state the Book of Mormon is false based on some unreasonable expectations that you have for the text. That is all.

I don't know if I would comfortable with this if I were attacking the Book of Mormon with the argument that the Book of Mormon is purely a copy of KJV of the Bible (something I don't buy anyway). Now, Joseph Smith knows enough to copy from both the Septuagint and the KJV of the Bible? That presumes that he had a copy (as yet, unproven - possible, maybe). That he knew enough to know to add this part, but why stop there and not just copy the whole translation of the Septuagint if he had a copy of it? It also seriously undermines the theory that Joseph Smith was just a witless copier of the KJV and that is why the Book of Mormon must be false.

Joseph Smith could be a version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He is an idiot at night and genius by day. And of course, he had the internet too. Never forget that.

I'd advise Joe to look into a Top Hat if his eyes begin to give him trouble, and if the problem persists i'd recommend he use a sheet.
