Oh no, I believe Jesus was God. My bad. LOLBuffalo wrote:My position is consistent with the findings of archeology and serious Bible scholarship. You might try at least reading a summary of the book I recommended.
You're rejecting it because it contradicts what Jesus taught, not on the basis of any evidence. Your null hypothesis is that Jesus is Lord, ergo he knew what he was talking about.

I never said they were. I'm sorry that your ignorance on this subject has caused you to also become angry with me. I'm here to help if you should actually decide you want to learn something on this subject.
Don't worry, tobin likes to ignore those who bring up uncomfortable questions.

Right, so starting from that position of faith, you ignore evidence that contradicts it. Not exactly rational, but not surprising, either. :)

What specific method did God use to communicate his knowledge to you that meant you knew it was God 'revealing' his will to you?
It is apparent to me that in asking these questions you don't know about and have not had spiritual communication. Am I wrong?

Yes, I described one experience I had under the heading, "The LDS Members and the Kingdom of God."

I read it. From that I would guess it would fit under a feelings/ideas. Something I think the body can very easily create.

It's apparent you don't want to elaborate because it would give away that your own expereinces would fit with some of his descriptions, and that there is no need to think they were created by some divine being, but rather your own body.

Believers are often shy about their spiritual experiences because they suspect they won't stand up to scrutiny.

I have FT on ignore.
In terms of my 'spiritual' feelings, I used to get a lot of the ones described by believers on here.
However, a course of antacid and a change of diet seems to have resolved the problem.

That reminds me of certain doctors who try to tell people who have had OBE's that it was just something their minds produced. However, if they would have actually had the experience, they would have known otherwise.
