Sorry, not according to the Church (see my sig line)...

Yes, it does reside there, but in my opinion, it also resides in the inspired words of the prophets as the scriptures state.

How do you differentiate between a Prophet's inspired words and a Prophets personal ramblings?

That's a good question Drifting! It is sometimes not easy to tell. For many years I thought that Talmadge was wrong when he stated that the virgin birth was not true, but years later I fionally got confirmation from the Spirit that it was true. I would have never expected that before!

So how did that confirmation of what you already believed manifest itself to you?

You said that you believed Talmadge was wrong when he stated the virgin birth was not true.
You got subsequent spiritual confirmation that it was true i.e. Talmadge was wrong as you thought. Or have you written your initial post badly?

Perhaps, I wasn't clear on that. What I meant was that I didn't believe him when I first heard that he stated that the virgin birth was not true because at that time, I believed that it was true. However, I know now that he was right.

Right, so you now believe Talmadge was right in saying that it wasn't a virgin birth.

And can you describe (as best as you can) what the Holy Ghost did to convince you of that?
