Membership numbers in the UK, growth?

Membership numbers in 2008 stood at: 183,672
Membership numbers in 2012 stand at: 188,029

That is a growth rate slightly less than the normal population growth rate for the last 4 years. If Mormon membership had kept pace with the UK growth rate the 2012 numbers would be 188,869.

188,029 or 188,869. I'll leave it up to you to decide which is slightly less. The "0.5% percentage deviation" is your statement. You do the math.
