No, somebody long after the event stated that he believed that Jesus believed it.

And he was a sucker. It was Jesus himself that told people not to bother washing their hands before they eat. How dirty is that? Filthy! Jesus is responsible for a lot of deaths through desease that could have been prevented by the washing of hands. But he was too stupid to realize that. Thus he spread his false gospel and told people to not worry about washing the garbage off your hands because it couldn't hurt you. DARK AGES!
I reject Jesus as a Savior. No one died for my sins. That is such a rediculous doctrine. The Christians were simply trying to outdo the Jews with their own blood sacrifice. I don't wan't that bloody cult in my life, thank you.

The whole story is a made up fable designed to instill fear into people who refuse to obey Jehovah. There is no reasonable argument to get a modern person with an intelligent brain to accept the story as factual. It's from the Dark Ages of religious history. What do you expect? Man back then was still running around with clubs and performing all kinds of bloody rites to their gods. Jehovah was the most blood thirsty of all the gods and required constant feeding. Many a perfect animal died being sacrificed to that monster. Yes, I view Jehovah as a monster -- one that goes "bump" in the middle of the night. One that requires the constant killing of animals to appease his anger. Jehovah was ever angry at everything and was always out to punish his followers for every little infraction. He was a tyrant -- a monster.

What gave you the idea that Jesus believed in something? That's right, The New Testament. And what is the New Testament? That's right, a collection of writings made long after Jesus' death, in which the authors make claims about they believe Jesus did and said.

It appears that you don't. But every Mormon who professes Joseph Smith to be a translator and a prophet should at least have some amount of concern as to why there is no king's name. The General Authorities don't discuss it. Members don't like to think about it.
All is well, all is well.

That's correct. We don't have any of the writings of Jesus. Nothing exist to verify what he said and to align those words up with reality. All we have is the crazed teachings of the New Testament which was a major missionary effort by the apostles to get people to become Christians. They doctored the religion and formed Chritianity of their own making. Jesus wasn't around long enough to do anything and he left no personal record. The New Testament is all heresay.

There is no reason, nor evidence, that would lead one to conclude that those "claims" are false ,misleading, or inaccurate. Here we see an revealing implication being made...obviously you are making a claim based on the notion that there can be no value, integrity, or Truth in a "biography" which is authored after someone's death.
ergo my assertion that you and the many who are like-minded are nothing more than run-of-the-mill Pessimists, evidenced by the consistent suffering from Cynicism - as it is an attitude or state of mind characterized by a general distrust of other's apparent motives, or a general lack of faith or hope in the human race.
I fear that you may have gone by the way as Themis, as someone who in face of either denying what Truth is or just being unable to recognize it has resigned to claim that Truth is subjective, is an illusion, is capable of being anything to anyone - and as such has no meaning at all, aside from being a source of betrayal.
If things truly can be however "you desire" then why not "desire" something better?

such inadequacy is expected at this point....be careful Darth Grammar Nazi will surely cringe over your error above.
Nevertheless, though you attempt, without success, to associate "valid" with only that which can be offered as evidence in criminal proceedings you neglect to realize that there are several exceptions to the hearsay law - even exceptions particular to the situation where the declarant is not available.
