Okay, I'll play...
What evidence exists that Christ was born? (and don't use scripture as proof because by that standard even Peter Pan can be claimed as being born)

Drifting, you need evidence that Christ existed?!? You are really far left wing, aren't you?!? I know you guys really love to rewrite history, but unfortunately for you (Ludwigm is right!), there is just too much documentation for that!!!
Albion, so you need to start listening to me then! LOL!

But you said...

I'm merely asking you to provide the evidence that prompted you to make the above assertion.

But the New Testament is unreliable. 1. You don't believe it has been wholely correctly translated. 2. It's a collection of second and third hand accounts written by people forwarding their own personal agenda. 3. If a written account is 'proof' that somebody lived then Harry Potter must be a real person.

gdemetz, is it possible for you to ever respond to a post without making it personal? Your rudeness is rather tiresome and adds nothing to your position.

The New Testament is not history. No one knows who wrote the books in the New Testament (except Revelations... written by a hermit on a Greek island with no connection to Jesus and Paul, who only claimed to have met Jesus long after he died). Even biblical scholars will admit that. You should brush up a little.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.
